We at dotLuxury applaud any effort a brand makes to be more eco-friendly. When a product goes above and beyond in their quest to be green, we like to highlight those efforts here. 360 Vodka is one of those products. The next time you buy a bottle of vodka, consider supporting this amazing eco luxury vodka with your purchase.
360 Vodka takes being eco-friendly extremely seriously. The process begins with sourcing grains from farms near their Missouri distillery. They then use an efficient distillation process to minimize energy waste. The bottles are made from recycled glass. The bottle’s labels are also printed on recycled paper using eco-friendly inks. Finally, 360 Vodka dries and sends any grains left over after the distillation process to local farms. As a result, the company produces almost no waste during the distillation process.
Perhaps the most unique, eco-friendly aspect of 360 Vodka is their eco-friendly “Close the Loop” program.
With its unique swing-top closure, the 360 bottle was designed for infinite reuse by the consumer. The closures can also be returned to the distillery for reuse through our “Close The Loop” program. For every closure that is returned, 360 Vodka makes a donation to environmental organizations and other local charities.
You can request a pre-paid envelope made from 100% recycled paper to send your swing-top closures back to us. Before recycling your 360 Vodka bottle, simply remove the swing-top closure and send it back to us in the pre-paid envelope. We will reuse it, allowing us to reduce waste and conserve the resources and energy needed to make a new one.
McCormick, the company that distills 360, also partnered with the Missouri Department of Conservation to launch FOREST 360. This campaign seeks to plant indigenous trees on the 40 acres which surround their Holladay Distillery. To date they have planted over 225 carbon-dioxide absorbing trees.
360 Vodka offers fifteen different vodka varieties that are “produced with natural flavors obtained from a variety of proprietary sources.” We have listed a few of our favorites below.
The company’s original vodka is distilled and filtered six times for a superbly clean taste. In 2016, this vodka earned a score of 93 (out of 100) rating from the Ultimate Beverage Challenge. This prestigious challenge also gave 360 Vodka a Great Value award for its reasonable price.
Premium vanilla beans grown on the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean flavors 360 Vodka’s vanilla offering. This vodka has a slightly sweet finish, distinguishing it from some of the cloyingly sweet vanilla vodkas in stores.
Lemon and vodka are a classic pairing. 360 Vodka’s lemon vodka has the same flavor as fragrant Sorrento lemons from Italy.
The robust flavor of raspberries blends into 360’s vodka. 360 suggests pairing it with hard cider for a punchy yet refreshing drink.
