Dining at the Eiffel Tower Restaurants

What could be more romantic than dining at The Eiffel Tower looking across Paris? The Eiffel Tower has five restaurant to choose from ranging from quick bites, to space for private parties, to elegant meals for two. If you have all things Paris, be sure to also see Kristen Taekman’s takeover of our Instagram from the City of Lights.

The most well known of the collection is located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. The 58 Tour Eiffel is open every day to serve you an unforgettable lunch or dinner. A distinguishing feature of the 58 Tour Eiffel is its bright, family atmosphere in the daytime, transforming into an elegant brasserie in the evening. Chef Alain Soulard offers high-quality, modern French cuisine combining tradition and originality.

The 58 Tour Eiffel welcomes you in a unique setting: ultra-contemporary décor designed by Patrick Jouin, and an open kitchen to admire the chefs at work and large windows to offer the best views of Paris. The Eiffel Tower’s iconic metal is everywhere you look, including the majestic staircase to the second floor. With its wall-to-wall glass, the restaurant offers a breathtaking view over the Trocadéro, Palais de Chaillot and the beauty of the Eiffel Tower’s structure.

The restaurant was named 58 Tour Eiffel simply because it is 57 meters (187 feet) above ground and adding one meter for the height of the kitchen range. As you sit in the dining room overlooking a spectacular view, you can choose from exquisite dinners such as fondant beef in red wine sauce with smoked bacon and button mushroom. Or for the seafood lover, a fillet of sea bream à la plancha, Haute-Provence’s spelt risotto, and butternut squash with Champagne sauce.

The Jules Verne

Located at the corner of avenue Gustave Eiffel and Charles Floquet is The Jules Vernes. This is a contemporary and elegant space created by interior designer Patrick Jouin. In daytime, natural light pours throughout the restaurant. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes more muted, more sensual.

The Jules Verne wine list consists of 100% French wines and offers an invitation to travel throughout France’s wine-growing regions with every meal. And to round out the experience, Head Pastry Chef Thomas Croize boasts “desserts are the final touch to this culinary voyage.”

The Champagne Bar

If you are planning to toast a special occasion such as a proposal or anniversary, be sure to visit the Champagne Bar on the 3rd floor.  Raise your glass to the surrounding view and toast to your heart’s content, even if the occasion is simply being in Paris. The Champagne Bar is open daily, so you can order Champagne by the glass whenever the mood suites you.

The Gustave Eiffel Lounge

What better way to celebrate a special occasion than renting the The Gustave Eiffel Lounge for your private event. Perfect for product launches, galas, and seminars, your guests will never forget dining at 57 meters high in the Eiffel Tower. The Lounge serves dinner for 130 guests or cocktails for 300 of your closest friends, family, or colleagues.

The Buffets

The Eiffel Tower Buffets offer light meals that you can enjoy on the spot or take away at any time of day. Choose from a wide range of hot and cold drinks, pastries, salads, homemade sandwiches, pizzas and more. A macaroon bar is available on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Take the time to enjoy one or more of these tiny, delicate cakes available in several flavors. Our favorites include chocolate, vanilla, coffee, caramel, raspberry, jasmine with gold flakes, and grapefruit with gold flakes. Your taste buds will thank you.

Dining at one of these restaurants makes visiting this historical site even more memorable. And don’t forget to take pictures of the spectacular views and amazing food prepared by some of the world’s top chefs. So, which of these restaurants will you try first? You might also enjoy our favorite steakhouse in Paris while you are in town!
