The Monaco Yacht Show: This Year’s Most Memorable Previews

The Monaco Yacht Show could also be dubbed superyacht world. It is undoubtedly one of the most, if not the most, prestigious yacht events in the world. This annual event is held in the iconic Port Hercules of the Principality of Monaco. This year’s event was held from September 26th until the 29th. Yacht owners, superyacht shoppers, and leaders in the luxury yachting industry flock to the show in Monaco to celebrate the best superyachts that top manufacturers have to offer.

Visitors can expect to see at least 120 superyachts on display each year. This year, the collective worth of the yachts in the show topped $3.5 billion. Forty-two new launches made their worldwide debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. This year’s debuts were longer and larger than past years’ launches. The biggest debut this year was Dar, which comes in at 295 feet. The only larger vessel in the show was Kismet, which boasts an impressive length of 312 feet. There was certainly much to marvel at this year. Here is a look at the most memorable previews from the Monaco Yacht Show.

This beautiful new release from Italian luxury maker Tankoa is both beautiful and efficient. Sales and marketing director Michel Karsenti proudly shared that “All the industry professionals who inspected her during the construction and over the past few weeks were taken aback when they understood that we truly deliver our promises. Not only is Solo an astonishing looking yacht, she is the most efficient yacht I’ve ever been on. From the total absence of vibration to her silence and performance, I am just thrilled.”

With a length of 252 feet, the motor yacht named GO is builder Turquoise Yacht‘s largest project yet. This stunning vessel has an attractively sleek profile. The central tender garage can accommodate both a limo tender and a multipurpose tender. The grand central staircase connects the lobby to the accommodations, but there is also an elevator which services all decks. The interior offers impressive levels of flexibility to house up to 18 guests.

This motor yacht has a reflective glass finish throughout. This allows voyagers unobstructed panoramic views from the interior of the yacht. Other amenities on Dar include a helipad, swimming pool, beach club, and a bathing platform. The superyacht can accommodate a little more than 40 people at a time, including the crew.

Illusion Plus
