Will you be spending your summer at sea? If you plan to sail away for your vacation, do so in style. Here is a look at this summer’s sleekest vessels.
Nuvolari Lenard was founded near Venice, Italy in 1990. Carlo Nuvolari is a naval engineer and architect, while business partner Dan Lenard is a designer. The talented duo stand out in the world of luxury yachts. Their Design Centre now has 16 employees, and in 2017 they won an award at the World SuperYacht awards ceremony. The team approaches each yacht as a pure luxury object. “No one needs a yacht”, they understand, so they strive to create a product so beautiful in design that it is irresistible. Here are some of the sleekest super yacht designs introduced by Nuvolari Lenard this year.
The “Black Pearl” is a collaboration with Oceanco. The bow shape combines the longest possible waterline with a flared bow. The lines on the ship are superb style wise, and functionally offer protection from side winds. The interior celebrates the French style of Louis XVI. Much historical research was done to create authentic and accurate interiors.
NL233 is a project with Turquoise Yachts. The 66m yacht is built in Turkey, and can accommodate up to 12 people with 16 crew members. The top speed for this sleek luxury yacht is 16.0 kn.
Bannenberg and Rowell are a stellar design team that create bespoke designs for clients. They are award winners in both interior and exterior design. While they offer custom design services for residential projects and aircraft interiors, they are best known for their super yacht designs. Here is what is new with Bannenberg & Rowell Design for 2018.
This collaboration with Benetti is a work of art. The Innovation Yacht is an 80m design which brings a new vocabulary to the Benetti stylebook. One exciting features is the glass and composite pyramid structure on the deck. This design element allows ample natural light to flood the interior spaces.
Feadship Joy is a multi award winning design from Bannenberg and Rowell. Delivered in 2016, Feadship Joy is one of the most talked about entries at The Superyacht Show 2018. The innovative exterior styling, with complex shapes and surfaces, has an emphasis on the exterior-interior flow. This super yacht is for those who value spending time outdoors on their yacht charter.
Dutch studio Mulder Design presents a beautiful design with the BF164. This super yacht is from Benetti, with the naval architecture by Mulder Design. This addition to the line of Benetti Now FAST super yachts stands out for having 30% more speed than other displacement models of similar lengths. Owners who want all the luxury and comfort found in displacement models with superior performance and speed added will love this super yacht.
Riva’s 110 Dolcevita is a new fiberglass flagship that will surpass the style, design, and performance levels of this already remarkable super yacht design brand. Riva worked with Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli together with Sergio Beretta, the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, and the Engineering Department, to create this superior vessel. The exterior design has flowing lines and a super sporty profile. The large window in the hull with the integrated porthole, as well as the long glass ceiling that stretches over the entire living room, enhances the experience at sea.
