The 86th Geneva Motor Show was held in Geneva, Switzerland in early March of 2016. All auto makers have equal footing on the show floor, allowing makers like Kia to be featured alongside elite brands like McLauren. Here are a few of our favorite luxury models exhibited at the show this year.
Bugatti
The BUGATTI CHIRON‘s unmistakeable design and prestigious name make it one of the stars of any motor show. The powerful, two-toned Chiron tops out at a slightly insane 261 MPH all while offering its driver remarkable comfort and control. If you would like to be an owner of one the 500 models produced, be ready to shell out a cool $2.7 million.
Maserati
The MASERATI LEVANTE is Maserati’s first SUV as they move to dominate the luxury SUV market. The Levante will be available in two classes of v6 petrol and a v6 diesel class. The brand’s SUV will start out at nearly $60,500 before options.
McLaren
The motor show featured two MCLAREN offerings including the endlessly customizable P1. The P1 offers bespoke upgrades, like a 24-carat gold exhaust heatshield, and standard features like the tinted panoramic roof. The baseline P1 will be priced around $217,000.
Porsche
Porsche displayed their new, slightly scaled back PORSCHE 718 BOXSTER. The S class Boxster will feature a turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, as opposed to the previous 6 cylinder model. This allows the roadster both quicker acceleration and better fuel economy. The S class will cost you roughly $72,000, before options.
If you love cars, consider attending the Geneva Motor Show one year. You will not be disappointed with the number and types of cars on display. Get ready to fall in love and come back year after year. You are also sure to find the car of your dreams on the show floor!
