Rolls-Royce Cullinan: A Look Inside

Three years after Rolls-Royce announced its intentions to deliver a “high-bodied car,” the luxury automaker delivered on their promise. The Cullinan is the company’s first ever sports utility vehicle (SUV) in the maker’s 114-year long history. The exquisite Rolls-Royce SUV is named after the largest diamond ever discovered on Earth. The name is appropriate for such a luxurious and sought after vehicle. So, here is a look inside the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

“Today we are setting a new standard by creating a new class of motoring and motor car for customers who are well-connected, highly mobile and have a global perspective.  Their sense of adventure and daring demands a ‘go-anywhere in ultimate luxury’ motor car that will both take them to, and meet them at, the pinnacle of life. Cullinan is that motor-car.” -Peter Schwarzenbauer, Rolls-Royce chairman

Performance

“Making millions of calculations every second, self-leveling air suspension cushions against the toughest surfaces, proactively adjusting to acceleration, steering cues and camera intelligence. The double-wishbone front axle and five-link rear axle deliver agility and stability.”

Reviewers have had nothing but accolades for the handling and performance of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. To show that the vehicle truly performs like an SUV, Rolls Royce partnered with National Geographic. The Cullinan traversed three continents and also conquered 12,000 miles of the toughest terrain on Earth. The Cullinan’s supreme off-roading capability was highlighted time and time again as the team traveled the Scottish highlands, the Arabian deserts, the Austrian mountains, and the vast landscapes in the United States.

All it takes is the press of the button to activate the Cullinan’s full off-road capabilities. This action engages the all-wheel drive, which provides uninterrupted torque to all four wheels and also raises the suspension 40 mm. The off-road setting provides reliable performance on wet, dry, snowy, or icy surfaces.

Luxury Lifestyle Interior

The Cullinan is, of course, a Rolls-Royce, and comes with the luxurious interior and attention to fine detail that aficionados expect from the maker. This Rolls-Royce SUV has a viewing suite that emerges at the press of a button. Two leather seats and a cocktail table allow comfortable tailgate-style seating so you can enjoy the best seats for the finest views in the world. The configuration is bespoke.

Another highlight of the Cullinan is the partition glass. This makes it the only SUV with a separate passenger environment that is completely sealed from the luggage zones. The separation partition provides exceptional climate control and also superior cabin sound for passengers.

Investors have multiple options for passenger and cabin seating. One is lounge seating, which provides raised seating for up to three passengers. This configuration enhances the view of landscapes for travelers. In contrast, immersive seating is an indulgent option that will accommodate two passengers. The two seats have a center console drink cabinet. The console holds two Rolls-Royce whiskey glasses, a decanter, two Champagne flutes, and also a refrigerator.

Technology

Going sporty does not mean leaving the best technology behind. Take the comforts of home technology with you in the Rolls Royce Cullinan. Connectivity goes with you anywhere and everywhere. The touchscreen theater and adjustable picnic tables will delight passengers. Available ports include headphone, USB, HDMI, AV, and also Blu-Ray. Wireless device charging is, of course, included, along with a variety of other high tech features.

Clearly, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is unlike any other sports utility vehicle on the market. While some try to look luxurious, Rolls-Royce clearly understands what real luxury is and can also deliver. Some thought the luxury brand could not deliver an SUV that performs, and this is the Rolls-Royce SUV that proves them wrong.
